What I ate yesterday

Breakfast- 0% Lemon Chobani Greek Yogurt, 1 cup of coffee, ½ of my Sigg water bottle

Lunch- ½ of a garden salad w/ light ranch (wasn’t a fan of the salad), 1 hot dog & 1 coney (both on regular hot dog buns), a ziplock bag of Artesian Chipolte tortilla chips, 1 Bud 55

Mid day- Two Diet Pepsi’s

Dinner- A spicy Chicken sandwich w/ cheese, value size fry & ceaser side salad all from Wendy’s.

Later that night- The rest of the tortilla chips

Beer consumed that night- 6 HopDevil’s & 3 Michelob Ultras

Exercise- None, unless you count sex

Yeah…this seems to be the same steady pattern for my entire week, oh hell who am I kidding, 2 weeks?? 3 weeks??
I don’t need to go into how I feel and wah, wah, waaaah. It’s just time to knock it the fuck off and wise up!

So that’s what I’m going to do. Starting right now…..

  1. It's not easy to stay OP 100% of the time. I had 30+ years of crappy eating and being a lazy ass...I know it's gonna take a lot of trying to get it right the rest of my life. It's ok...and I hope you know that. xoxo :)

  2. Suzi...sex counts are exercise so way to go on the cardio!!! Keep it up you are a inspiration!

    Tracy from Alabama

  3. next time we do it, i'm gonna wear my heart rate monitor to see what i burn. the husband might be against this, but i don't care. i'll call it research :)

i'm really, really glad you posted this. i knowww we're not perfect all the time, and blah blah blah, but it's nice reading REAL examples of this.. like successful people eat bad food sometimes.. it's just about moderation and blah blah. but yeah. i hear you. let's knock it the fuck off together!! xo

  4. 8 yrs of keeping 129 pounds off, being a ww leader, I STILL have these spurts like u describe--they make great stories when you are coaching your members. In fact it will make u a great leader. U just have to go thru it. just knock it off already and im with u cause I too am in a spurt since memorial day. So enough with the blah blah i tell myself! So Im with ya!

  5. We all have those days, but (to pull out one of the most overused clichés) every day is a fresh start. Plus, if you conserve those Hop Devils, there will be more Hop Devils for the rest of the nights of the week. >;-)

  6. Ive been having these weeks lately too. Thank you for making it public and being truthful. I am kicking my own butt back OP. I finally am in a new job so i can go back to my favorite sat meetings again, so i am really hoping that helps me tomorrow. You will kick your own butt, I know it!

  7. Suzy, you are HUMAN. Lighten up on yourself. After losing 101 lbs, sometimes a little beer might find its way in to our mouths (ok a lot of beer)

At least you recognize that you need to get back to it. That is really the important thing. Your before and after pictures are absolutely amazing. You are one gorgeous lady. Congrats on all of your success and on your upcoming full marathon!

  8. Hi Suzy! I'm glad you posted this - and know that you'll be back on track before you know it. Have a great weekend.

  9. Hi ... stumbled across your blog trying to figure out the Points Plus for beer prior to going out for happy hour next week! So tell me ... what's the best bang for my points??

    Definitely bookmarking you!

  10. It is damn hard sometimes. 1 week...2 weeks....3 weeks...sucks for sure. Figure out what's going on in your head. Don't let it add up to 65 pounds like I did. I wake up every morning wondering what the hell happened. Nip it in the bud. Hugs until you do. Know you will.

  11. Suzi, just lost 30lbs with WW, your story is so awesome as is so many others. I have been so inspired I am starting to work for WW, to be part of the success of many, what an awesome program where we can still live! I love beer and live in a town with some of the best micro-brews in the country...YUMMM Portland OR.

    Congrats, and Cheers!
