This is my 100th blog post!!  WHOO HOO!!

Apparently in the blogging world, this is a huge deal.  I didn't know how to give it a proper celebration since I’m still ignorant on all thing “cool” in the blog world.  So as usual, I am beating the rhythm of my own drum.  So here is goes…

We have cake!  Have a piece…I wont tell…

birthdaycake98

Now burn off some calories in the bouncy house…

cake-bouncy-castleWHEW! I’m tired! Lets go fuck with some clowns…

Event_DirecTus_CharactersUmmmm….those are by far the most messed up looking clowns I’ve ever seen.  WTF?? Is that Fred Flintstone?!????  Who hired these clowns?? (Ha ha ha ha…you better have laughed)

We better burn off some more calories…Stripper Pole Wii anyone??

wii-stripper-poleHELLZ YEAH I ACCEPT COUPONS BABY!!!!

Of course it wouldn't be a party here at this bloggy blog of mine with some ice cold beer!!  Plus I don't know about you folks, but I worked up a thirst shaking my change machine!!

beer-ice-cold    So there you have it folks!  Possibly the best 100th blog post party ever!!

OK, let me get serious here for a minute.  First of all I want to say *THANK YOU* to every person who has ever visited this blog, follows this blog, comments on this blog, tells their friends about this blog, tweets about this blog, think about this blog in intimate moments with their lover….THANK YOU!!

All of the support you guys have given me since January, when I first started this blog, has been amazing and I truly believe that I couldn't have been as successful without it.  I always get pressured with guilt that I don't offer it back enough or share my thanks enough, but I hope you all know how much you all mean to me.  I only hope that I can become a better blogger and continue to inspire.

To my new followers…Hello!  I hope you enjoy this and we can inspire each other to do great things!  I can be a boring blog at times, but Id rather post stuff I really care about then waste yours and mines time.  Plus, I’m lazy a lot so please forgive me.

Before I get to my VERY FIRST GIVEAWAY!!  I want to say a couple of things that I have to be thankful for:

  • Last week I hit my 85 lbs lost mark at Weight Watchers!!  Tonight I was down .6 so that's 85.6 total (for you mathematically challenged).  I am now only 6.4 lbs away from my goal weight!! (And yes, I had to get out the calculator to figure that out)
  • There is this guy…you may have heard about him, his name is Jack.  He runs a mediocre blog called Jack Sh*t, Gettin' Fit.  No??  You haven't heard of him?? Common.  Well anyways, he surprised me having probably his only good blog post of the year and it includes myself in it!  It is about a group of FABULOUS individuals across the blog world and you can visit the post here.  (In all seriousness, I absolutely love Jack & he is a huge support system for me, but I have a special blog planned for that…maybe…if I ever get drunk enough to want to be nice to him)

SHUT UP SUZI!!!!!  WE WANT THE GIVEAWAY!!!!!!

So here it is guys and gals…I have purchased to give to you probably the most important kitchen tool that one could have.  This has literally changed my life in some ways.  It abilities are endless and I haven't even used some of the damn functions.

I am giving away the Weight Watcher Electronic Food Scale:

100MEDIA_IMAG0334All you have to do to be entered in this blog is do some of the following:

  • Leave a comment on this blog telling me what item of food you would most love to weigh on this baby!

  • Link this blog post on your blog (again, please comment here)

Things that might get you extra credit entries:

-Think about my blog in your dreams.

-Leave me a comment telling me how beautiful and amazing I am.

-Scream out my name during sex

….OK, those last three don't really count.  Or do they??   ;)

**I am very, very sorry but this giveaway is going to have to be open to US residents only :( **

The deadline to enter is Tuesday, September 7th (I’m extending it due to the holiday) at 11:59 pm Eastern time.

  2. Soo much better than any 100th blog post I've ever seen! I would use this baby to weigh out my chicken, I always just go by if it is one breast or half ect.

  3. Clowns? Are you kidding me? *shudder* LOL I did laugh though. Those are some freaking f'ed up clowns.

Congrats on the loss. You're going to be at goal in NO TIME! OMG!

  4. Poo. You get me all excited and then "U.S. residents only"?! Bah. Well, I'll still pimp you out on Twitter anyways.

  5. Congratulations! I think I'd most enjoy weighing meat because I can never guess how many ounces I'm eating.

  6. The reasons I love this blog:
    1. I love beer
    2. I, too, am brunette
    3. I am in WW
    4. You are an inspiration

I would weigh pasta, because I'm sure I always eat too much! : )
also I did the twitter thing.

  7. Wow! 100 posts, amazing! And so much accomplishment! I love the flinstone clown.

First thought of what to weigh was chocolate!?! But honestly I can figure out that serving size. Protiens would be the best thing to have a scale for. I just judge by my palm/deck of cards idea and I'm sure that isn't too accurate!

  8. Oh and I will tweet about your blog, silversidechica on twitter.

  9. Congrats!

I would weigh pasta. Because seriously: how the fuck do you figure out what 2 oz. of uncooked pasta is??? Who decided that was a convenient serving size? It's not quite a 1/4 cup of cooked pasta, nor quite 1/2 cup of cooked pasta, both of which I could easily measure. What. the. fuck?? 2 oz of UNCOOKED pasta?? Who eats uncooked pasta???? c'mon.

I am linking to this blog on twitter right now! (girlonabikedc)

AND, I'm even going to break my own rules about non-cycling posts on my blog and link to this blog on mine.

I probably won't scream your name out during sex, but I will say I really like your blog because you manage to get fit & healthy while drinking beer. And I like beer. Alot.

  10. Not entering the giveaway (since I already have the same WW scale...loves!), but I wanted to stop by and say congrats on your 100th post and your incredible weight loss!!! 85lbs is AMAZING!!! I'm at the 40lbs mark with 20lbs more to go and you're an inspiration!! Keep it up...you're almost there :)

  11. I can't imagine how much you'd have to drink to wanna be nice to me... it's kinda scary to think about. ;)

  12. OMG I want that scale! It's too many $$ for an old retired woman to buy. I'm really pumped to weigh TBM's edible thongs on it. Man sometimes I want more than one, ya know? I just don't know how many points they are. It would be so helpful! Holy crap if they're only 1 point, I could maybe weigh the motion lotion too! The possibiliteis are endless!!!! Fingers crossed I win!

  19. Congrats on the 100th! I just found your blog today through msbitchcakes. I too love beer! If I were to win the scale, I would measure everything on it, but would be most happy about beef, chicken, etc. I'm a meat and potato gal, so this would help me to be honest with myself ;) I don't have twitter. I also don't have a blog yet, but I'm working on it. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Cool giveaway. I have the old school WW scale....so that one would be fancy!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hmm? What would I weigh? Does it have to be food? *wiggling eyebrows*
Seriously though, probably just about everything, I don't think my "eyeball it" method is not super accurate :)

  22. Oh, and I just retreated this post bb!

  30. I would like to weigh my beer....... nope but that is what I would like to be drinking right now. Great giveaway lady. XOXOX

    ReplyDelete
  31. I also love beer and save my 35 points for it, plus everything I get from exercise.

I would use the scale to weigh things that have stupid serving sizes and make 1/3 of the package a serving.

    ReplyDelete
  32. 85lbs and 100 posts? Who are you, Super Woman? Yes, yes, you are! :) Congrats!

What wouldn't I weigh on this scale is the bigger question... It would certainly help with rice, lentils, grains, and pasta. I'm horrible at eyeballing that stuff, cooked or not!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Get THIS, suzi. if I win..? I'm going to try a new recipe ONCE A WEEK. Oh yes, that just happened. And how will I do it? WEIGH THE APPLICABLE INGREDIENTS AND BLOG ABOUT IT!

    1. I'm a lurker
    2. I like beer, and am dying to know how you lost weight while drinking it (i'll go back and read your archives)
    3. Anything I'd weigh on the fabulous scale would be better than what I'm doing now. :)
